A Visit by Stuart Frost, Sculptor and Environmental Artist

Stuart Frost.jpg

Stuart Frost, Artist in Residence with FORM, will be visiting the Great Southern in February. A sculptor and environmental artist, Stuart Frost explores culture, myth and history in playful, ephemeral land art interventions. During a three month residency the British artist will turn his skill for crafting natural and forgotten objects into beautiful, paradoxical artworks.

He will provide a short presentation of his works at the Vancouver Arts Centre. Come along to learn more about environmental art from a world-class artist!

RSVP to arts@albany.wa.gov.au or (08) 6820 3740.

This event takes place on Noongar land. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Minang people of Noongar nation. We pay respects to any elders past, present, and emerging. And we recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land, which continue to be important to Noongar people living today.
