Gluten Free

A gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes gluten, a protein composite found in wheat and related grains, including barley and rye. Gluten causes health problems in sufferers of celiac disease (CD) and some cases of wheat allergy. For those diagnosed with celiac disease, a strict gluten-free diet constitutes the only effective treatment to date. Some people believe that there are health benefits to gluten-free eating.
Regardless of the reason our guests choose to request a gluten free breakfast, we ensure they don't feel like they are missing out.
We bake our own gluten free bread which includes, white, grain and seed bread.  For those trying to minimise gluten in their diet we have Dinkle bread which is made using spelt flour and uses seeds i place of grains.

We serve Khorasan Bread.  Khorasan grown only organically in Australia.  Khorasan is one of the ancient grains recently introduced into today’s contemporary diets. Our bread has a rich buttery taste that has a natural sweetness  The loaf possesses a fine, almost cake like texture and has a light amber colour. Most wheat sensitive people can eat Khorasan as an alternative to normal wheat breads.

We have many varied dishes on our menu for them to choose from.

We have a range of Quinoa and Chia Seed dishes available including Chia Seed Breakfast Pudding, Quinoa Porridge topped with Bananas and toasted almond and coconut flakes.
