Gifting is a fulfilling and rewarding way in which we uplift the spirit of others. Our social conscience package is ‘The Ultimate Remedy Is A Safe Haven - Pay it Forward’. We firmly believe in undertaking and giving to people who simply do not take time out for themselves because personal circumstances may prevent it. We desire to provide them with a safe haven; a moment in time for those experiencing life’s most difficult times to rest, to lift up, to reinvigorate, to provide much needed relief and create special memories.
HideAway Haven has previously gifted two night stays, but we also wished to take this experience and indulgence a bit further. We have worked with other local businesses in our community who share our values of peace and harmony to organise an experience for these guests which will create lifetime memories.
Donations from other businesses have included massages, yoga and relaxation sessions, meals and cheese platters, local wines, manicure and a twilight cruise.
We have implemented this package as an alternative to the numerous requests we receive for free accommodation vouchers for quiz nights, raffles and silent auctions.
De'arn, Clare, Tara and Narelle are 4 beautiful sisters. Clare has 4th stage breast cancer and one item on her bucket list was creating special memories with her siblings (sadly her brother was not able to be with them) Clare has been tireless raising money for fourth stage breast cancer research. You can read her story HERE. If you would like to help financially you can donate HERE
A huge THANK YOU to Oyster Harbour Store for dinner last night, Beauty at Saltacious for Salt therapy, make up, pedicures and manicures and for giving Clare eyelashes again, Southern Ocean Sailing for a Twilight Cruise and to capture the special memories Lata Photography for the photo shoot. HideAway Haven has hosted these beautiful ladies for two nights and will serve them an Italian dinner tonight.
And a big thank you to Zenith Laundry for taking care of the linen at no charge for us:-)
