When asked what does winning this award mean to your business, Becki responded, “As both Maggie and myself are deeply passionate about Tourism and showcasing Albany, winning the Gold in the recent WA Tourism Awards in the Hosted Accommodation category, was a tremendous boost for us and for Albany. It is personally so rewarding being recognised by the Tourism Industry and our peers. We are committed to delivering our guests the best possible experience during their stay at HideAway Haven and in Albany. We love what we do and do it sucessfully so we are pretty proud of ourselves to say the least and are still smiling ear to ear! Our most recent Award for WA Regional Small Business (0-4 employees) was by far an enormous win. For us to win in this category was completely unexpected! Winning our awards means that after five years of hard work and commitment, we have received incredible recognition for our efforts and dedication to HideAway Haven – and not just ours, but the effort and dedication of our whole team. It was a very overwhelming and humbling experience. We hope this will inspire others to provide excellence in their businesses and dare to stand out in their market. Winning the Micro Business category reinforces that our business model, goals, objectives and ethics across marketing, customer service, innovation, environmental sustainability and HR have been recognised. This win encourages us to maintain and also consistently improve what we offer.
