Our new Waffle pan has just arrived and waffles will now feature on our breakfast menu. Not just any plain waffles, but a variety of sweet and savoury ones. Made our first savoury waffles this morning. Corn and crispy bacon, (made with polenta) served with spinach and rocket, bacon and a poached egg and topped with home made tomato chutney.
We will also trial Feta and Spinach served with grilled tomato and bacon and for the sweet tooth Banana Pecan and Caramel or Hot Apple Pie and Coconut Crumble.
An amazing recipe book came with the Waffle Maker and we can't wait to try them all out.
