Spend a day with Albany’s Celebrity Chef Daniel Sharp
Albany holds one of the richest, most undiscovered wine and food regions in Australia. This package has been carefully created to showcase the highlights and hidden treasures on offer. Sharp Infusion - Fine Dining will inspire your inner foodie and what better way to discover the magic than a regional tour of local wine and fresh food producers finishing with an interactive cooking experience at HideAway Haven.
Your culinary journey begins with a visit to either The Albany Farmers Market or The Albany Boatshed Markets with Albany’s own celebrity chef Daniel Sharp, where you can taste test various produce, sample some local wines and purchase local fresh produce for your dinner.
You will spend a few hours visiting local producers who will explain the finer points of growing their produce in our region. Visit Eden Gate Blueberry and Micro Green Farm and pick your own berries for dessert. Try some of their Blueberry Port or Blueberry Vinaigrette. Marshall’s Asparagus Farm is just a short drive away. See how asparagus grows, and cut your own for dinner. Wander through the many acres of raspberries, black berries, boysenberries and so many more. A Trip to Florescence, time permitting, which is the largest farm of exotic flowers outside of Perth. They were also 2011 GWN Western Australian Regional Small Business of the Year. Purchase some liliums or tulips to decorate your table.
Then it’s time for lunch at Oranje Tractor Wine. Purchase a platter of fresh produce from their extensive gardens and sample their wines. Let Pam or Murray advise you on the best wine to accompany your dinner.
A final stop at Wignalls Wines for some wine tasting, before heading back to HideAway Haven. Relax for a couple of hours on your own private deck, before meeting Chef Daniel in the main kitchen.
Using the goods purchased during the day, Daniel will unleash your inner foodie and together you will prepare your dinner with an infusion of passion and creativity.

Young celebrity chef Daniel Sharp, of Sharp Infusion, is adding flavour to luxury retreat HideAway Haven.
His HideAway Infusion package is more than simply having a top chef looking after your fine-dining needs. It is about sharp grabbing hold of the foodie that is inside you but too often hidden.
The food and wine package takes you on a culinary journey, where you will visit some of the best food and wine producers in the region, looking for ingredients for that night's feast.
You get to taste the goodies along the way, as producers explain the finer points of their fare.
The package (from $975.00 a couple) includes a day with Sharp, visits to local producers, wine tasting at Oranje Tractor Wines and Wignalls Wines, two nights at HideAway Haven with gourmet breakfast each morning and use of all facilties, transport for the day and cooking experience and dinner.
