One of the main reasons we chose to visit Luino during our stay in Italy was because of the Wednesday Markets. We were not disappointed. What a huge selection of cheese, bread, spices, pasta, condiments and so much more. We spoke to many stall owners about Italian cooking as we wandered through the lane ways for a full day.
We picked up lots of goodies throughout the day and cooked our own dinner that night, using all the fresh produce collected. What an amazing experience. Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and made our own sauce using fresh ingredients and herbs.
We have learnt a lot during our food journey to Italy, and it has been very successful, with guests ordering and enjoying our Italian dinners.
