2013 Anzac Day Memorial Cruises on ‘Sail-A-Way’
 



Dawn Cruise: Leave Albany Marina at 5am (please be aboard by 4.45 am)
Midday Cruise: Depart Albany Marina at 12.30pm (please be aboard by 12.15pm)
We sail into King George Sound, have a short ceremony and wreath laying then have a cuppa and something to eat. Duration of each cruise approx. 2.5 hours
Please bring a small plate of food to share

ANZAC Dawn Service

ANZAC Day traditionally begins with the Dawn Service at the Memorial, a reminder of the dawn landing on Gallipoli in 1915. Commencing 5.30am. Buses will be provided for transport to the memorial service from the Albany Entertainment Centre and Middleton Beach from 3.30am. Please note Apex Drive will be closed to all private vehicles. The Dawn Service will be simulcast from the Albany Entertainment Centre, doors open 4.15am.

ANZAC Commemorations 2013

ANZAC Commemorations in April 2013 inlcude the Gunfire Breakfast - commencing at 6am at Forecourt Albany Entertainment Centre, ANZAC Day Parade - commencing at 10am, assembling Corner Stirling Terrace and Spencer Street from 9.30am and the ANZAC Day Memorial Service commencing at 10.30am at Albany ANZAC Peace Park, Princess Royal Drive.
